Ordering Women's Items Through Mulebuy: Where to Begin

The thing to be most careful about here is sizing, because women's China-market sizing runs its own way.

Expect sizing to run small, and always use the chart. Women's clothing from Chinese sellers often runs one or two sizes smaller than Western labels, and cuts can be quite fitted. Don't order by your usual dress size. Instead, take your own measurements with a soft tape and compare them to the listing's chart in centimeters:

• Stitching and seams — even and secure, especially at stress points.
• Zippers and closures — hidden zips and hooks should work smoothly; ask QC to test them.
• Print and color — patterns should align at seams and colors should match the seller's photos under neutral light.
• Any embellishments — beading, lace, or trims should be secure.

A beginner tip: for fitted pieces, ask QC to lay the garment flat and photograph the bust and waist so you can confirm the measurements before shipment — much easier than a return afterward.
